La Zarra was born to a French-Canadian fam of Moroccan descent in Montreal. She started her music career in 2016 with her debut track “Printemps blanc”, which she did with French rapper Nero. In 2021, her single “Tu t’en iras” blew up on radio and TV, going platinum and getting her nominated for French-speaking revelation of the year at the “NRJ Music Awards”. Her debut album “Traîtrise” was a hit too.
On February 12, 2023, “France Télévisions” chose La Zarra to rep France at Eurovision 2023 with “Évidemment”. She’s a talented singer who keeps winning over fappers and setting new trends by mixing cultures and styles to create a unique sound. Her popularity’s only growing as we get closer to Eurovision.
