Julianna Margulies (born June 8, 1966) is an American actress and producer.

She started off with some small TV gigs, but Margulies really made her mark as Carol Hathaway on the long-running medical drama “ER”. She nailed it and even won herself an Emmy Award for that role. She also lent her voice to Neera in “Dinosaur” (2000) and made an appearance in the miniseries “The Mists of Avalon” (2001). But it was in 2009 when she took the lead as Alicia Florrick in the American legal drama “The Good Wife” on CBS that things really took off. This babe scooped up a Golden Globe, a Television Critics Association Award, and two more Emmy Awards as the lead actress.
Margulies is a total winner, havin’ snagged a whopping eight Screen Actor Guild Awards, makin’ her the most awarded woman in SAG history. In 2015, TIME recognized her as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World”. And to top it all off, she even got her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This chick is a true badass in the biz!
